Let the animal wars begin!

We’ve seen so many animals. The house and dogs haven’t scared them off.

We camped out at the block the night before the septic guys came (since we had an early start), and were startled by something crashing through the bush, making a helluva racket. By the time I got my phone, he’d climbed part way up a tree and was bellowing. Looks a little demonic.

Koalas

Unusual daytime koala mating activity – the male is chasing the female up the tree with lots of noise. Deep grunting from him, with high pitched screams from her.

Endangered in Victoria, powerful owls are a rare sight. We’ve seen one skimming down the track before, but this is the first photo we’ve got. The video shows it more clearly….
