We camped out at the block the night before the septic guys came (since we had an early start), and were startled by something crashing through the bush, making a helluva racket. By the time I got my phone, he’d climbed part way up a tree and was bellowing. Looks a little demonic.
Unusual daytime koala mating activity – the male is chasing the female up the tree with lots of noise. Deep grunting from him, with high pitched screams from her.
Not sure what he was doing out during the day….

The kangaroos and wallabies like hanging out on the dam bank early morning and late afternoon. The kangaroos often seem to use it as a boxing ring.
